Menopause is not "normal" as we know it.

Why We Should Start Breaking "Norms" About Our Health

I don't actually believe that many conditions we have normalized are "normal".

Case in point: menopause.

Menopause is considered "normal" for women around age 50, and we even have a diagnosis now of Early Onset Menopause for women who experience this hormone shift prior to 50.

Menopause is due to an endocrine shift that relates to various hormones in the female declining, also impacting fertility.

Meanwhile, we are now seeing that our American environment is bathing us in daily (when we don't pay attention to what we ingest, inhale, or absorb) in endocrine disruptors. PFAS, PFOS, hormones in the water supply, additives in food, plastics in food, makeup, and more.

So why would we believe that menopause at 50 is "normal"?

What if we could do BETTER at helping females extend their hormonal balance and regulation?

They would maintain function for longer, fertility for longer, vitality for longer, maintain better bone density for longer, have better posture (therefore better cardiopulmonary function and mobility) for longer, and more.

Maybe we should work towards breaking out of these things we call "normal", and choose something different. Something better.
